Magbag, Bobbie and Louie

Balfarg Beardies started in 1998 with the purchase of our foundation bitch Maggie (Magbag).
I had shown Dobermanns in my younger days and wanted to get back in the ring, but only for a bit of fun, you know, the odd local show, that sort of thing. And it's all snowballed from there.
We only have a litter occassionally, and our aim is to breed for type, with soundness of temperament and construction.
Despite limited showing, we have had good success in the ring, with Maggie, her pups, and her grandchildren.
Balfarg Beardies are all pets first and show dogs second, they all live in the house with us, and we are very lucky in that whenever we show, we always bring the best dogs home! ;-)
All adult dogs have been x-rayed and hip scored, and as of Nov 15th, all Beardies have been eye tested clear. Both Bobbie and Louie are thyroid function normal. All dogs are 0:0 for their elbow score.
